PLESMAN ROOM

Albert Plesman resided in the well-known ‘Plesmankamer’ (Plesman Room) from 1946 to 1949. The room was located above the main entrance and can still be recognised from the ornamental globe with birds.

The room’s chic look with original wooden panelling resulted in the Plesman Room also later being hugely popular among directors from the Ministry. They were really eager to establish their office in the prestigious room.

On this website, you will find a number of impressions and detailed layout suggestions to give an idea of the architecture of the apartments.
